Account Manager/Sales Support

Position - Account Manager/Sales Support
Location - WI and KS

This sales support position will support the sales team by managing merchandising projects, placing orders, order follow-up and tracking, invoicing clients and general client and sales support.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
•    Provide executive level administrative support to sales professional and office support
•    Answer general support calls from clients and resolve any issues with little guidance
•    Provide collaborative support to a highly driven sales professional by managing merchandising projects from start to finish
o    Research products for creative, new ideas
o    This includes creating the graphic design and artistic direction for the proposal
o    Prepare product proposals and negotiate with clients and vendors
o    Develop creative product recommendations and provide imaginative, high quality conceptual solutions for clients. Create first-rate presentations (PowerPoint) displaying product designs and be able to present to executive level staff in a professional manner
•    Administer order placement by entering requests into the software program and work directly with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery to the client
•    When the order ships, send an invoice for payment in a timely manner.
•    Take an active role in building the clients’ business, generating new strategies and anticipating and providing suggestions for client’s needs.
•    Establish successful relationships with various vendors
•    Effectively and professionally interface with clients

QUALIFICATIONS:
•    A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business or the equivalent in relevant work experience
•    2 - 3 years of directly related marketing or sales support experience, including project management skills
•    Strong computer skills including a high level of proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Graphic Software (Illustrator, etc.)
•    Industry experience is preferred with proficiency in product knowledge

Outstanding skills- math logic, analysis, and written and verbal communication

Organizational Skill Set - Outstanding time management and organizational skills with attention to detail that will impact profitability. Superior organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail

Time Management Skills – Ability to multi-task and manage several projects at once Must be flexible and work well under pressure and easily adapt to change. Ability to keep composure in high stress situations

Sales Process - Knowledge of the sales process and familiarity with product pricing


This person would be responsible for taking on projects, being responsible for direct contact with customers and vendors, and independent decision making.
